MOSCOW - Russia has received "many requests" to purchase energy resources amid a global energy crisis, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.

"Now that the world has firmly embarked on a path of a serious economic and energy crisis, the scale of which is growing day by day, the energy market and its conditions have completely changed," Peskov said.

"There are many requests to purchase our energy resources from alternative markets," he said. "We are negotiating in a way that aligns with our interests."
