HONG KONG - An exhibition at Kai Tak will pioneer the use of a hemispherical art space for performances and installations, marking the first initiative of its kind in Hong Kong.
Titled “Perpetual Records”, the exhibition will utilize facial scanning technology to transform visitors’ facial features into dynamic geometric patterns, creating an immersive, multisensory experience that invites audience participation.
Presented by XCEPT, in collaboration with international artist Daito Manabe and featuring live performances by media artist Chris Cheung, the experience will open to the public from Dec 19 and run through Jan 4 next year at FutureScope, the city's first-ever large-scale art dome.
China Daily's Adam Lam took the photos on Wednesday.
