HONG KONG - Long-sleeved shirts, jackets, and hats finally came in handy on Wednesday, as Hong Kong experienced the coldest day so far this autumn with the minimum temperature recorded at the city’s observatory falling to 18.4 degrees Celsius.

As of 9:10 am, the temperature across the city was generally below 18 degrees. Tai Mo Shan logged the lowest temperature at 10.6 degrees, followed by 13.3 degrees in Ngong Ping and 15.8 degrees at the Peak.
