Lighting the National Games flames

Under the witness of officials from Guangdong province, the Hong Kong and Macao special adminsitrative regions, the flame for the 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympics Games was lit in Guangzhou on Wednesday.

The lighting of the cauldrons symbolized the joint efforts and shared dreams of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. After the collection, the flames will be taken to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, the Hong Kong and Macao SARs, with torch relays scheduled for November in the four cities.
