HONG KONG – School hallways are again bustling with the sound of excitement and anticipation as the educational institutions welcomed back students for the start of the new academic year on Monday.

Hong Kong’s transport department issued a statement on Sunday to remind students to allow more travel time on the first day of school. "Students, especially those attending a new school, should familiarize themselves early with the public transport routes to and from their schools and the service frequencies," a spokesman said.
