Two people were killed and 12 others are missing after a mountain flood and mudslide disaster occurred in China's Sichuan province and destroyed some houses at a village in Kangding city, according to a report by China Media Group.
The disaster also left another five people missing after an expressway bridge collapsed in Ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture of Sichuan, where three vehicles carrying six passengers fell off, according to local media Ganzi Daily.

The bridge between two tunnels along Ya'an-Kangding expressway between Kangding city and Luding county collapsed at around 3:30 am due to the sudden mountain flood and mudslide.
After the disaster, the local government is carrying out all-out rescue efforts, with multiple teams under operations at the scene.

As of noon, more than 150 rescuers, 10 vehicles, 10 units of rescue equipment, one unmanned aerial vehicle and one helicopter have been dispatched to the site.
