CANNES, France - Four Chinese films — Moon Man, The Cord of Life, Vanished Girl, and Football on the Roof — received film shortlist certificates of 2023 Cannes Film Festival China's New Talents Going Global Program on Friday night.

China's New Talents Going Global Program, sponsored by China Film Foundation Wu Tianming Film Fund, aims to provide platforms for China's new filmmaking talents to communicate and cooperate with international filmmakers.

Chinese film director Ning Hao said he hopes that Chinese young filmmakers could learn more at international film festivals.
