The two-day meeting aims to build momentum towards fiscal and financial outcomes ahead of the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, scheduled to be held in Shenzhen in November. This marks the third time China has chaired the event as the host economy, following previous meetings in Shanghai in 2001 and Beijing in 2014. The theme for this year is "Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together."
