The Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council coordinated with relevant government departments to assist in the response to the Tai Po district fire in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, following President Xi Jinping's instructions.

The departments included the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as the relevant departments of Guangdong province and many charitable enterprises.

The related departments quickly mobilized resources to assist the city, based on the second phase of the material list submitted by the HKSAR government. And they delivered the first batch of materials to Hong Kong on the evening of Nov 29, 2025.
