Hang Seng Index closes 1.42% lower

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stock market ended lower on Monday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.42 percent to close at 17,196.96 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dipped 1.68 percent to end at 6,002.91 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 1.46 percent to close at 3,436.75 points.
