GUANGZHOU, Guangdong - The Guangzhou "Rixin Cup", also known as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Three-on-three Basketball Open, commenced on Thursday.

Over 500 young athletes representing 136 teams from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao, Foshan, Dongguan, Jiangmen, Huizhou and other cities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will show their skills over the next three days. 

As a pivotal event for budding basketball enthusiasts, the "Rixin Cup", which is in its third year, not only serves as a platform for showcasing talent but also fosters significant sports and cultural exchanges among the youth in the GBA, according to the event organizers.
