"This support is critically important for strengthening our defense capabilities and maintaining the country's financial stability," he said.

The Ukraine Support Loan is an EU financial instrument providing up to 90 billion euros in assistance to Ukraine over 2026-2027.

This year, the mechanism envisages 16.7 billion euros to cover Ukraine's budget needs and 28.3 billion euros for defense, including the development of the country's defense industry.
