ICRC resident representative to Myanmar meets ex-state counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi

YANGON – Arnaud de Baecque, resident representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to Myanmar, met with former state counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar on Monday morning, according to the country's Presidential Press and Information Bureau.

In two of the four photographs released by the bureau, Aung San Suu Kyi was seen shaking hands and holding talks with Arnaud de Baecque in a wood-paneled room.

The other two photos showed her cutting a birthday cake bearing the English inscription: "Happy Birthday Aunty Suu".
