Bridging Chinese heritage and Hong Kong's modern urban life, a new thematic exhibition will be held starting Friday, taking visitors to an unprecedented cultural journey.
A media tour gave journalists a glimpse on Thursday of the new thematic exhibition The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: A Day in the City – An Experimental Study of Things Across Time in Gallery 7 of the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
Solely sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the exhibition features creations by nine established and emerging Hong Kong artists that bridge the majestic heritage of the Forbidden City with contemporary urban life. In addition to showcasing local art, it highlights a participatory space dedicated to public co-creation workshops.
China Daily's Andy Chong took the photos.
