The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison opened the San Wai barracks in Fanling to members of the public on Saturday to mark the 29th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland and the 29th anniversary of the PLA’s deployment in the special administrative region.

Visitors took part in activities, including flag-raising ceremonies, military drill performances, military equipment displays, and hands-on training experiences.
