Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu is leading a business delegation to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to strengthen cooperation between Hong Kong and Central Asia across finance, trade, infrastructure, innovation and technology, and green development.

The delegation arrived in Kazakhstan on Sunday on the first leg of the seven-day trip. It will arrive in Uzbekistan on Wednesday and return to Hong Kong on Saturday.

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were the SAR's number one and three trading partners respectively in Central Asia in 2025.
