HONG KONG – A three-day carnival celebrating the legendary monk Jigong kicked off in Hong Kong on Friday, offering the public a vibrant mix of interactive games and cultural workshops designed to spread the monk's joyful spirit, famously marked by his signature “Ha ha ha” laugh.

The “Jigong Culture in Hong Kong 2026”, which runs through Sunday, offers free admission for all to exhibitions, performances, guided tours, and non-heritage craft sessions.

The carnival is jointly organized by the International Jigong Culture Association, Tung Sin Tan, and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
