HONG KONG – Several giant inflatable cats have taken over the Harbourside East Lawn of the Art Park at the West Kowloon Cultural District, serving as the centerpiece of this year’s WestK FunFest, an annual family event offering various performances, art installations, and workshops.

The installation, titled “Air Giants – The Cats that Slept for a Thousand Years”, will open to the public on Thursday. Created by UK-based creative studio Air Giants, the artwork features serene, sleeping feline figures that have “awakened after a millennium."

Visitors can interact with the cat sculptures on the Art Park lawn until April 7.
