As a species from tropical Asia, spider trees have been planted on roadsides and in the parks of Hong Kong. They are a common deciduous urban tree in the city that may reach 15 meters in height.

These trees, known for their distinctive clusters of white and yellow flowers adorned with long filaments, bloom from March through May, earning them their evocative name.

In spring, as these vibrant spider trees burst into bloom across Hong Kong, they invite residents to explore their neighborhoods, appreciate the city's subtle details, and create lasting memories of their connection with the environment.
