
HONG KONG – An electrifying energy passed as crowds of people joined the biggest street party in Hong Kong to mark the Year of the Horse on Tuesday night.
The 2026 Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade lighted up the city, with nearly 60 groups from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other parts of the world.
With a variety of street performances, the festival highlighted the city’s rich multicultural appeal, extending heartfelt wishes to visitors worldwide.

This parade route was adorned with dazzling lights and lanterns, including those from Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park Hong Kong, showcasing exciting performances from local and international troupes for a dynamic start to the celebrations.
