
HONG KONG – The 35th Education & Careers Expo, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will be held from Jan 22 to 25 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The fair will bring together over 860 organizations from 23 countries and regions, including government bureaus and departments, tertiary institutions, and educational centers, to provide a wide range of information on further studies and career opportunities.
Admission is free.
The event also features multiple seminars and talks, with local celebrities and senior representatives from leading companies and educational institutions set to talk about career prospects in their respective sectors.
A “CV Clinic” will also be set up at the expo, offering job seekers practical services and tips, such as one-to-one CV consultation, professional CV portrait photography, and interview strategy.
Joblessness situation
The Census and Statistics Department in Hong Kong will release the labor force data for October to December 2025 on Tuesday.
The city’s unemployment rate has been constant during the past months. From September to November, the city logged a 3.8 percent unemployment rate and a 1.6 percent underemployment rate, unchanged from the previous three-month period.
The Consumer Price Index for December is also scheduled to be released next week.
