Senior officials' meeting of 2026 APEC 'China Year' to be held on Feb 1

BEIJING - China, as the host of the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, will hold the first APEC Senior Officials' Meeting and related sessions in Guangzhou from February 1 to 10, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Wednesday.
Spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular news briefing that this marks the first official event of the APEC "China Year."
