Chinese shares open higher Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.11 percent to open at 4,169.70 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.21 percent higher at 14,397.68 points.
