Hong Kong recorded around 45 million visitors in the first 11 months of 2025, surpassing the whole-year total for 2024, the Hong Kong Tourism Board said Monday.

The HKTB said in a statement that the city welcomed around 4.2 million visitors in November, an increase of 17 percent compared with the same period last year.

“From January to November, Hong Kong received around 45 million visitors, marking a 12 percent year-on-year rise and surpassing the whole-year total for 2024,” the HKTB said.

It said the visitors in the first 11 months of the year included about 34.5 million from the Chinese mainland, or an increase of 11 percent from the same period last year.
