HONG KONG - Candidates for the New Territories South West geographical constituency attended a Legislative Council election forum titled “Patriots Collaborate for Good Governance” on Tuesday.

The purpose of the forum is to enhance voters' understanding of candidates across various constituencies and raise the level of attention of the community and to encourage proactive voting.

On Monday, the city's election authorities confirmed the eligibility of all 161 candidates, with a total of 39 election forums to be held in the lead-up to the eighth LegCo general election scheduled for Dec 7.
