Dozens of guests from China and Malaysia – including government officials, business leaders, and academic and think tank experts – gathered Tuesday at a luncheon on the occasion of the Malaysia-China Commemorative Forum in Kuala Lumpur.

The forum, co-organized by China Daily, KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, and the Malaysia-China Business Council, aims to explore ways to enhance ties between China and Malaysia as the two countries are celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year.

China Daily's Edmond Tang took the photos in Kuala Lumpur.
