Buzzing golden week

Crowds of visitors have flocked to Hong Kong with the Labor Day “Golden Week” holiday starting on Wednesday.

The five-day holiday has released tens of thousands of tourists into the city, filling up the streets and landmarks such as Yau Ma Tei Police Station, Sham Shui Po’s Apliu Street, Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui, and Victoria Harbour.

According to the Immigration Department’s figures, Hong Kong recorded more than 208,000 visitors on Wednesday, with over 181,000 coming from the mainland.
