Qiu Jianwen, professor in the Department of Biology at Hong Kong Baptist University, has discovered more than 30 new species of marine life -- jellyfish, coral and shrimp in nearly two decades. Devoting himself to marine life classification research, he hopes that more local professionals get involved in related fields, and has urged Hong Kong to set up a natural history museum for a better study environment and for storing specimens.
