Hong Kong's appeal as a regional headquarters continues to grow
Alpha Lau Hai-suen, director-general of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong, recently shared her insights in an interview with China Daily. She noted that Hong Kong is emerging as a preferred location for leading enterprises to set up regional headquarters, thanks to its established trade advantages with ASEAN countries and its direct access to the Chinese mainland market. Lau also cited an example of InvestHK’s role in assisting companies in expanding their businesses into ASEAN markets, specifically mentioning the toy manufacturer Pop Mart.
