Enhancing Economic Cooperation: Visa-Free for GCC Countries
China has rolled out a visa-free pilot program for citizens of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain starting June 9, achieving full visa-free coverage for all Gulf Cooperation Council member states. Khaled A Mahdi, former secretary-general of Kuwait's Supreme Council for Planning and Development, told China Daily that as the China-GCC relations continue to advance, the emergence of these policies is a natural outcome and will provide more convenience for economic and trade cooperation between the two regions.
