Forbes released the latest list on the World's Highest-Paid Musicians of 2016 on November 30.

Compared with 2015's ranking list, Taylor Swift defeated Katy Perry and rises from fourth place in 2015 to the top spot this year. The pop band One Direction continues to hold second place. Calvin Harris, Puff Daddy and Garth Brooks remain among the top 10.

No 10 Puff Daddy: US$62 million

Sean John Combs, better known by his stage name Puff Daddy, or P. Diddy, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and entrepreneur.

He is the winner of three Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards.

No 9 Calvin Harris: US$63 million

Adam Richard Wiles, known professionally as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter. Harris has collaborated with numerous recording artists.

His collaboration with Rihanna We Found Love became an international success, earning Harris his first number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Meanwhile, Harris topped Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid DJs for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015.
