Sea Sparkle glows along HK seashore

The seashore of Shek O turned neon blue on Wednesday due to a Noctiluca scintillans algal bloom. The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department said red tides had been reported at a number of the city's beaches recently. The government assured that the red tides are a natural phenomenon and said it will closely monitor the situation.
