Editor's Note: Beijing's Palace Museum, a must-visit site for tourists from around the world, came up with creative ideas, such as new souvenirs, to bring more fun to more visitors and spread ancient Chinese culture globally instead of showcasing itself conservatively.
Celebrity effect helps attract more visitors
Celebrities such as Prince William, US President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, all visited the Palace Museum, making it more attractive among ordinary people around the world.

Souvenirs add fun and money to Palace Museum
Products ranging from fans, stationery to earphones, all mimic items people, especially officials, used at that time the museum was an imperial palace. That adds a bit of fun and sales add revenue to the Palace Museum.
