British royal collections' Chinese items

Here is a pear-shaped porcelain vase with a four-clawed dragon painted around the sides from Jingdezhen of China's Jiangxi province. There is a smaller dragon rising from the waves at the base of the vase. This gift was also presented to British Queen Victoria by Li Hongzhang in 1896 at Osborne House. (
