As large numbers of Chinese flocked to Japan to pay thousands for toilet seats, it was a surprise to many that the smart toilet lids on sale in Japan were actually made in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, according to a report. Panasonic Home Appliances (Hangzhou) Co. Ltd, the manufacturer, has confirmed that the toilet lids selling around the world were all produced in China's Hangzhou.
