According to Hong Kong media reports, 19-year-old Hong Kong athlete Tang Wai-lok won Hong Kong's first gold medal in men's 200m freestyle in the Rio Paralympics defeating British and Australian swimmers.

He broke the Paralympics record of 1:56.32 seconds, only 0.05 seconds longer than world record. Deng will also attend Men's 200m medley in the evening (local time) of Sept 17.
