It is the sixth time that Changi Airport has made it to the list. The opinions of 13.02 million air travelers from 112 countries and regions were polled and 550 airports were covered.

The survey is based on 39 performance indicators including check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration, through to departure at the gate, it said.

"We are excited about Changi Airport's future as we expand to serve an increasing number of passengers. However, we will not forget to continue to delight our passengers through our focus on service excellence and spirit of innovation," said Lee Seow Hiang, Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airport Group.
