When Chinese dramas are presented overseas, can audiences truly understand the performances, which are spoken in Mandarin and rooted in Chinese narratives? Tian Qinxin, president of the National Theater of China and director of the play "Four Generations Under One Roof," believes that cultural and language differences do not present a challenge; instead, they inspire creators to impress with wonderful performances and sincere emotions. "We will take our work overseas," she says.
