Chinese shares close lower Thursday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.28 percent to 3,028.92 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.69 percent lower at 9,206.24 points.
