HONG KONG — The 36th Hong Kong Book Fair, one of the city's most anticipated summer literary events, will open its doors from Wednesday to next Tuesday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, this year's fair carries the theme "Reading the World: Cultural Legacy • Joyful Journeys," inviting readers to explore the cultural heritage, distinctive local traditions, and creativity of various places around the world.

Running alongside the fair are two co-located events — the Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo and the World of Snacks — creating a vibrant summer showcase that goes beyond books.

The three fairs are expected to bring together more than 770 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries and regions, offering visitors a diverse mix of international literature, local heritage, and lifestyle experiences.
