
A 6.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Sulawesi, Indonesia at 11:27 am Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was monitored at 0.95 degrees south latitude and 120.10 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
The center initially said it was a 7.0-magnitude quake based on preliminary measurements.
