HONG KONG – The results of the central allocation for this year’s Primary One admission in Hong Kong will be released on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Education Bureau (EDB).
Total 16,345 children took part in the central allocation this year, with 14,093 being allocated to schools of their first three choices, the EDB said in a statement.
“Taking into account discretionary places and the number of children allocated to schools of their first three choices in the central allocation, the overall satisfaction rate was 93.6 percent,” said an EDB spokesman.
Parents who have activated their Primary One Admission e-Platform account via iAM Smart or iAM Smart+ can check the results online from 10 am on Wednesday.
Those who provided a mobile number and consent on the Choice of Schools Form will be notified via SMS the same day.

Parents will also receive the Primary One Registration Form with the allocation results, which will be delivered on Wednesday and Thursday through Hongkong Post’s courier service, said the EDB.
Meanwhile, the parents who will not receive the documents or a collection notification card by June 5 can collect them at a designated collection center on June 6 or 7.
The EDB reminded parents to register their child at the allocated school during school hours on June 9 or 10.
If parents are unable to complete the registration procedures during the specified time due to important matters, they should contact the person-in-charge of registration at the allocated school in advance to make alternative arrangements, the EDB said, adding that otherwise, they will be considered to have given up the allocated school place.
