The Shenzhen International Museum of Art (SIMoA) will officially open to the public on Saturday, marking a milestone in the city’s cultural landscape.
Located in the heart of Guangming Science City, the new museum sits alongside the Science Park and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, forming the core of the “one park, four centers” cultural cluster in Guangming district.
Covering approximately 135,000 square meters, the museum was designed under the concept of “sailing together in the same boat”, featuring two hull-shaped structures that symbolize Eastern and Western cultures.
