
HONG KONG – The Hong Kong Police Force has charged three men, aged between 20 and 23, with conspiracy to commit subversion, authorities said on Thursday.
The case was mentioned at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on Thursday.
The men were among the 10 individuals arrested by the police during an enforcement operation on Dec 11 and 12 for allegedly committing the offense of unlawful drilling under Section 13 of the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance.
Police investigation revealed that a syndicate conducted drills involving firearms, knife techniques and martial arts combat in an industrial building unit in Kowloon in an attempt to subvert state power by means of force or threat of force.
