
Residents of seven buildings affected by the Tai Po fire were allowed to return to their units to collect personal belongings in batches starting Monday, with the process continuing until May 4, 2026.
Nearly five months have passed since the deadly fire at Wang Fuk Court. The first batch of registered residents who were allowed to collect their belongings were from Wang Sun House of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government's arrangement allows them to visit their apartments during two time slots from today until Wednesday--9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Excluding walking time, residents may stay in their units for a maximum of three hours.
