
The 2026 Guangdong Fashion Week – Spring officially opened on Friday in Panyu district, Guangzhou.
The grand opening also launched the “Guangdong goods going global” summer promotional campaign for apparel and accessories in Panyu, marking the start of an eight-day event spotlighting the strength and innovation of China’s leading garment province.
In 2025, Guangdong was home to 2,421 large-scale apparel enterprises, producing more than 3 billion garments annually. The province’s highly synergized industrial clusters span women’s wear in Dongguan’s Humen area and Shenzhen’s Dalang area, denim from Zengcheng’s Xintang area and Foshan’s Sanshui area, homewear in Shantou’s Chaonan area, and casual wear from Zhongshan’s Shaxi area.

The opening ceremony, hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, brought together government officials, industry experts, renowned designers, and media representatives.
