SCMUN 2026: A Global Pathway to Excellence in Diplomacy and Leadership
By See Change Education

HONG KONG – Only a few months ago, delegates who began their journey at the See Change Model United Nations (SCMUN) at The City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) completed their global experience at Oxford MUN. They returned with prestigious accolades, including Best Delegate awards and Honorable Mentions. Building on this success, SCMUN will return for its fifth edition from August 3–9, 2026, at CityUHK -- a premier hub for international exchange. We look forward to welcoming hundreds of students from over six countries.

SCMUN provides an elite pathway for young leaders. Outstanding participants have the opportunity to win a variety of awards and earn nominations to represent their institutions at world-renowned conferences at Oxbridge and Ivy League universities, including Oxford and Harvard. This experience is led by a premium team of committee directors -- Model UN professionals selected through a highly competitive process to provide high-quality mentorship and a rigorous diplomatic experience.

A Proven Launchpad for Success

The partnership with CityUHK offers a direct link to academic and professional excellence. Professor Chan Chi Hou, Vice-President at CityUHK, noted that the university serves as a “window to the global platform”, helping students master communication skills critical for any field.

Dion Chen, chairman of the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council and principal of Ying Wa College, added that the program allows students to analyze issues from multiple perspectives while boosting impromptu speaking and debate skills.

The 2025 cohort set a high standard of excellence, with standout delegates Aden Su, Leung Kwan Yat, Andy Yu and Tang Hiu Yan winning HKIEA scholarships and earning prestigious nominations to Oxford MUN.
