YouTube fixed a problem with its recommendations system that caused more than 350,000 users to experience problems with the streaming site, saying all of its platforms are back to normal.
The outages led YouTube’s site to appear blank for some users, with no videos loading on the YouTube app, YouTube Music and YouTube Kids.
According to internet monitor Downdetector, more than 350,000 users reported problems, but that number fell to nearly zero a few hours later.
YouTube said in a post on X that the issue was fixed.
Other sites including Google, Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare also experienced issues, according to Downdetector.
