
BEIJING - A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson on Thursday once again urged the Philippines to immediately take effective measures to undo the egregious impact of China-related disinformation and smear campaign spread by a spokesperson for its Coast Guard.

"Certain people should not be allowed to continue making provocations, creating trouble and acting unscrupulously to avoid any further disruption to normal diplomatic communication or even greater harm to China-Philippines relations," spokesperson Guo Jiakun told a daily press briefing.
