
JAKARTA - Indonesian rescuers on Thursday recovered six more bodies at the crash site of an ATR 42-500 aircraft on the slopes of Mount Bulusaraung, an army official said.
Dody Triyo Hadi, an officer of the Indonesian army involved in the joint search and rescue operation, said the bodies were found at different locations within a radius of about 50 meters from where the first victim was discovered.

Earlier, rescuers had recovered two bodies, one male and one female. The rescue team has also retrieved the aircraft's black box.
The ATR 42-500 aircraft, carrying 10 people, crashed on Saturday after taking off from Yogyakarta en route to Makassar.
